VOLUNTEERS

Joondalup Districts Cricket Club (JDCC) is a not for profit sporting club competing in the Premier Cricket competition in Western Australia – the highest level in the state. JDCC is a proud club with a long history, having been established in 1885 as the North Perth Cricket Club before moving to Iluka and changing its name to Joondalup Districts Cricket Club in 1999. We currently have 4 senior teams and 8 junior teams. We are the only club in the Premier Cricket competition with 8 junior teams.

We have a strategic plan which is very exciting, and includes a focus on a strong club culture and being a fully integrated and inclusive club. Our vision is to be the club of choice in Premier Cricket.

As with any community-based sporting clubs the volunteers are critical and it would be amazing to have more people involved. This may include volunteering for specific events or ongoing during the season (writing media content and social media updates, being a team coach, assistant coach or team manager, a scorer, helping with the food and drinks for the players etc.).

JDCC has had players involved in Australian, State and BBL teams as well as developing players. We want to build on the foundations to be the club of choice on and off the field. We would love to hear from any amazing volunteers who want to become involved and keep this club great.

If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer in any capacity or would like further information please contact Damon Lusk at jdccvolunteers@gmail.com
