Welcome back to the second half of the season and with a new year brings a returning face to the club and January’s Player of the Month Tim Zsilinszky. Starting his time at the club playing juniors he got his first game in seniors at 16 and 10 years on he is still going strong. After coming back at the start of this year due to work commitments he started in 3rd grade making 56 against South Perth and then backed it up against Rockingham-Mandurah with 84 not out and 4 catches as the wicket keeper.
A very modest and quiet guy in the 2017/2018 season he made his debut into 1st grade and knocked an extremely impressive 122 off 229 against Scarborough with 19 4’s and a 262 run partnership with Garrick Morgan who made 195. After breaking his finger and missing most of the following season his good form is a welcome addition as the finals season is fast approaching and a few key games are coming up for the club.
What are your goals for the rest of the season?
To see success at the club and hopefully continue my good form and make it back to playing 1st grade
Why did you become a Wicket Keeper?
I am good at it and I like being involved in the game
Favourite memory?
Winning the 2nd grade flag in the 2016/2017 season and making a tonne on debut
