We were visited today by a past legend of the club!
Adam “Smokey” Hollioake former North Perth/Joondalup player is currently the batting coach for the Queensland Bulls and also assisting the under 19s Team during this national championship in Perth.
He is pictured along side our honour board showing him the winner of the bowling average for the 1993/94 season.
Adam went on to play Test Cricket for England also Captaining their one day side whilst forging a long career with Surrey.
More recently in November “Smokey” was privileged to be named the Captain of Surrey’s Greatest Ever 11 featuring some all time greats of the game like Alec Stewart, Sir Jack Hobbs, Ken Barrington, Alec Bedser and Waqar Younis.
